MAEK created this home for a couple who were embarking on an exciting future, who wanted a home where they can nurture their grandchildren, entertain family and friends, develop business, and have amazing tennis tournaments. In fact, such emphasis was placed on the importance of tennis that we made it a central part of the design.

The couple desired a home that strongly expresses their individuality; a built form that says, ‘welcome to the party’ and lifts the spirits of those who enter. Open plan living and a flow between outdoor and indoor spaces was a must, in order to connect the important tennis court, pool and alfresco area to the key living spaces. 

Their request was a minimalistic, contemporary and sleek home with a monochromatic palette, ensuring a consistency of finishes and materials throughout.

The finished result is sculptural, striking and monochromatic.
