The location of this home really sets the scene, with peaceful, uninterrupted views of picturesque Mosman Bay, and being mere steps from the river’s edge, you can watch on as water gently laps at boats, and black swans glide gracefully past.
It’s the bringing inside of the surrounding environment that gives the home a wonderful feel. It’s also the myriad of personal touches and finishes incorporated into the design of this forever home by its owners.
Positioned to take full advantage of the northern sun, the entrance bathes its visitors in dappled, natural light, softened through sheer curtains and hit & miss brickwork to the exterior.
Entering through a large metal finished pivot front door, you are led to a sculptural spiral staircase which fills the double height entry void, bringing softness and intrigue. It also hints to the curvature and subtle details featured throughout the home. Polished plaster walls contribute to the overall organic feel and use of natural materiality that is evident throughout.
To the exterior of the home, handmade Petersen brickwork to the façade combines with steel columns and standing seam roofing, providing a balance of organic materiality with hints of industrialism. Cobblestones form the driveway and northern courtyard, breaking the stone paving up into a textural tapestry, softened by the surrounding greenery. A delightful, curved infinity pool reflects the beautiful Perth skies, while overlooking the views beyond.
This riverside home was purposely designed to bring the outside in, and with its thoughtfully curated spaces and wonderful blue outlook, it provides a luxurious setting for relaxed, waterfront living.
